Nyerere National Park
Transfer from Zanzibar and Evening Game Drive
Today's Experience
In the afternoon, you will be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transferred to the airport for your scheduled 4:00pm flight to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve). Upon arrival at Mtemere Airstrip, you will be welcomed by your professional guide and given a short briefing before proceeding to the park gate for check-in. Your adventure begins with an exciting sunset game drive, offering the chance to spot elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, and more as the golden light bathes the savannah. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at Mufasa Tented Camp.

Sunrise Boat Safari and Full-Day Game Drive
Today's Experience
Begin your day with a magical sunrise boat safari on the Rufiji River, where you may encounter hippos, crocodiles, vibrant birdlife and even elephants along the riverbanks. After the boat trip, return to camp for a hearty breakfast. Once refreshed, set off on a full-day game drive through Nyerere National Park, complete with a picnic lunch, as you explore a variety of habitats and wildlife-rich areas. In the late afternoon, exit the park and transfer to a new location for a change of scenery. You will arrive at Selous Safari Lodge, situated just outside the park, where you can unwind and enjoy the peaceful bush surroundings.

Zanzibar
Transfer to Airstrip and Return to Zanzibar
Today's Experience
Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the lodge before checking out. You will then be picked up by your driver and transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, a driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel or residence, marking the end of your safari adventure.
